Multiconsult wins contract for road project E-39 Svegatjørn-Rådal

Oslo, 13 August 2015 - Multiconsult ASA has been awarded a contract from The Norwegian Public Roads Administration (Statens Vegvesen) for the Svegatjørn-Rådal section of E-39, the new main road between Os and Bergen in Western Norway.

The contract has a value of approximately NOK 25 million and the majority of the assignment is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2018. Multiconsult will be responsible for project planning and preparation of tendering activity related to electro and control systems as well as construction follow-up.

The new E-39 is one of the largest road projects in Norway. The Svegatjørn-Rådal section consists of 28 000 metres of main road, including 4 tunnels.
