Multiconsult ASA acquired the remaining shares in LINK arkitektur in the fall of last year. With its more than 350 employees in Norway, Sweden and Danmark, the architecture company is a significant part of the Multiconsult group.
– This is a clear signal that architecture is an important focus area in our group. We look forward to utilising Leif’s solid expertise in our efforts to further develop the group, says the CEO of Multiconsult, Christian Nørgaard Madsen.
The link between early phase architecture and early phase consultancy is pivotal in the development of the society towards urbanisation and sustainability. The demand for integrated engineering and architectural services is growing from both the public and private sector. Stronger ties and cooperation will make it possible for Multiconsult and LINK arkitektur to realise a significant potential for value creation within comprehensive planning, particularly for complex buildings such as hospitals.
– Through Multiconsult’s acquisition of LINK arkitektur, architectural services have become a large segment for the Multiconsult group. There are exciting opportunities for further development of LINK arkitektur as well as interesting synergies with the parent company. My inclusion into Multiconsult ASA’s executive management team has enabled a good and close interaction between the two companies, says Leif Øie.
